IEA Meetings 2026 — Event Registration Platform

The official platform for the International Engineering Alliance Meetings in Cape Town, June 2026: a Next.js event site with delegate registration, online payment, and a signed-in portal with payment history and downloadable PDF invoices, on a Laravel API.

The challenge
The International Engineering Alliance Meetings bring delegates from member bodies around the world to Cape Town. Registration, fees, accommodation, excursions and visa guidance all had to be handled online, and every delegate needed a record of what they had registered for and what they had paid.

Our approach
A Next.js App Router front end carries the public side — programme, accommodation, excursions, fees, visas, partners and contact — with a registration and payment flow behind it.
Signed-in delegates get their own dashboard: profile, registration history, payment history and invoices they can download as PDF. A Laravel API hosted on Forge sits behind it all, generating the invoice documents and holding the registration and payment records.
